This control is solidly constructed, and sonically outstanding. Think of it as a bargain priced Goldpoint 24. Connections are easily made (no soldering required) and it even comes with a knob. They are physically large, so make sure you have room for one if you are replacing an existing volume control. These would be an excellent basis for a passive preamp. Sounds WAY better than the Alps Blue Velvet it replaced
