2-in-1 RF Expansion for Flipper Zero (NRF24 + CC1101)
Combines a 2.4GHz NRF24 module and a 433MHz CC1101 Sub-GHz module on one GPIO board for RF learning, testing, and development with Flipper Zero.
Auto-Switching Plug & Play (No Manual Toggle)
Built-in switching logic lets you use NRF24 tools and Sub-GHz functions without unplugging, swapping boards, or flipping switches—select features directly in the Flipper menus.
Momentum Firmware Setup (Required for Dual-Module Detection)
Optimized for Momentum firmware with GPIO remapping support. Activate by going to: Start → Protocols → GPIO Pins → set “NRF24 SPI” to “Extra 7” → Save.
Compact, Portable, High Integration
Ultra-compact footprint (approx. 3.5 × 2cm) keeps your setup clean and travel-friendly—ideal for portable builds and quick field testing.
Compatibility Notes + What’s Included
Some legacy apps with hardcoded default pins may not work—use apps that allow custom GPIO/SPI settings. Includes: 1× NRF24+CC1101 board, 2× antennas (2.4GHz & 433MHz), 1× protective case, 1× quick guide. Flipper Zero not included.
Description
Upgrade your Flipper Zero with a compact 2-in-1 RF module that combines NRF24 (2.4GHz) and CC1101 (433MHz Sub-GHz) on a single GPIO board. This design eliminates the hassle of swapping modules or using manual switches—built-in logic allows smooth switching between NRF24 and Sub-GHz functions directly through Flipper menus.
Key Features
Dual-band support: NRF24 (2.4GHz) + CC1101 (433MHz) on one board
Auto-switching design: no toggles, no module replacement
Compact footprint for portability and clean installs
Designed for RF research, testing, and education (authorized use only)
Firmware Requirement (Important)
This module is optimized for Momentum firmware because it supports GPIO remapping needed for dual-module operation.
Setup steps:
Connect the board to the LEFT 8-pin GPIO port on Flipper Zero
Go to Start → Protocols → GPIO Pins
Set “NRF24 SPI” to “Extra 7”
Save settings
Compatibility Warning
This board uses an optimized GPIO mapping so both chips can run on one GPIO setup. Apps that use hardcoded/default pin definitions (and do not allow changing pins in settings) may not detect or work properly. Use tools/apps that support custom GPIO/SPI configuration.
Package Includes
1 × NRF24 + CC1101 2-in-1 module
2 × antennas (2.4GHz and 433MHz)
1 × protective case
Note: Flipper Zero device is not included.
Use Notice
For educational and authorized testing only. Always follow local laws and use only on equipment you own or have permission to test.
Manual Guide
1 - Insert the dev board
Plug the module into the LEFT 8-pin GPIO port on your Flipper Zero.
2 - Power on
Turn on your Flipper Zero.
3 - Select the external RF module (Sub-GHz / CC1101)
Go to: Sub-GHz → Radio Settings → Module → External
This is needed to turn on the 433MHz CC1101 module.
4 - Use the RF tools
2.4GHz (NRF24)
Applications → NRF24 → MouseJack / NRF Sniffer
433MHz (CC1101)
Sub-GHz → Read / Send (or other CC1101 tools)
5 - No switching needed
The firmware will automatically switch between the NRF24 and CC1101 modules.
Notes
This module was tested on a Flipper Zero with Momentum firmware before shipping.
Troubleshooting
If the module does not work, check:
Start → Protocols → GPIO Pins
Make sure the GPIO pin settings are correct before use.
“External Module” must be enabled for CC1101 (433MHz).
NRF24 tools do not need extra settings.
Warning
For educational use only. Use responsibly and only on equipment you own.
